Film 2022

The Banshees of Inisherin

by Joanna Orland

I’m still living life 2020 style when it comes to cinema outings. But with all of the streaming content, I can just about keep up with some of the wonders the film industry has to offer. Albeit sometimes a bit behind schedule, so consider the release dates of these for streaming in Canada.

From my most enjoyed to my least (I may be adding to it in the next 2 days before 2022 is officially over):

The Banshees of Inisherin – A Martin McDonagh film starring Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson was pretty much a guarantee for my #1 spot. It lived up to expectation and even the hype. Phew!

Everything Everywhere All At Once – I loved it, but could’ve just as easily watched a feature length film about Raccacoonie!
