BFI London Film Festival: Room Premiere
Our review of Room.
by Laura Patricia Jones
Possibly the most emotive film of the year, Room is an intricate and powerful representation of the boundless love between a mother and her child under the most harrowing of circumstances. Telling the tale of the two trapped in a windowless space and the rehabilitation from their brave escape – this adaptation of Emma Donaghue’s bestselling 2010 novel is quite the tearjerker.
This evening director Lenny Abrahamson and leading lady Brie Larson took to Leicester Square’s red carpet to chat about the making of this beautifully moving feature.
