Pan Press Conference

A refreshing new take on a classic tale, Pan tells the story of a young Peter Pan (Levi Miller) as he finds his way to Neverland and befriends a young James Hook (Garrett Hedlund) before his captaining days. They encounter many colourful characters along the way including the beautiful young warrior Tiger Lily (Rooney Mara) and the film’s villain Blackbeard (Hugh Jackman).
Director Joe Wright and cast members Hugh Jackman, Rooney Mara, Garrett Hedlund and Levi Miller gathered in London to promote Pan. Much fun was clearly had while making this children’s film from a children’s perspective, according to director Joe Wright. The sets were inspired by nature’s wonders, thanks to the director’s subscription to National Geographic magazine, and the characters inspired by the original writings of Peter Pan author J.M. Barrie.
