Suffragette to open 59th BFI London Film Festival
The 59th BFI London Film Festival will open with Suffragette, a film about the ordinary British women at the turn of the last century who risked everything in the fight for equality and the right to vote. The film will hold its European premiere on Wednesday October 7th, at Odeon Leicester Square and will be attended by the cast including Carey Mulligan, Helena Bonham Carter and Meryl Streep.
The 59th BFI London Film Festival runs from Wednesday October 7th -Sunday October 18th, 2015. The full programme for the Festival will be announced on Tuesday September 1st, 2015.
