Venice Film Festival: The Awards
The 71st Venice Film Festival awards results are in –
Venezia 71
The Venezia 71 jury has chosen its winners for 2014. Chaired by Alexandre Desplat and featuring Joan Chen, Philip Gröning, Jessica Hausner, Jhumpa Lahiri, Sandy Powell, Tim Roth, Elia Suleiman and Carlo Verdone, the jury have viewed all 20 films in competition to find their winners. In the past, the Venice jury have been known to choose unfavourably, but this year they are on the mark. The full list of winners are:
GOLDEN LION for Best Film:
