Composer Michael Giacchino

Last night saw the Star Trek score of composer Michael Giacchino come alive at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall.  Simon Pegg surprisingly took the stage to introduce Giacchino, who then took the stage to introduce director J.J. Abrams who praised Giacchino for making his movies come alive.

The film screened with a live orchestra playing the score.  The audience went wild.  The evening finished with Giacchino conducting a song from his upcoming work on the latest Planet of the Apes film.  To top it off, I spotted some of the new Star Wars cast amongst the crowd!
