London Wonderground at Southbank Centre
May 10th – September 29th 2013

Underbelly presents London Wonderground at Southbank. This summer long festival celebrates the best of cabaret, circus and sideshows that the world has to offer.  All taking place in the 1920’s style Spiegeltent, London Wonderground is part of the Southbank Centre’s Festival of Neighbourhood and runs until September.

Highlights include:
• CIRCA Beyond: Circa are quite simply one of the world’s great contemporary circus companies.
• Al Murray: The Pub Landlord’s Southbank Saloon – The nation’s favourite pub philosopher turns pop-up publican, bringing his unique satirical genius to London Wonderground.
• Bourgeois and Maurice: Cabaret’s strangest and spangliest brother/sister duo return to London Wonderground with their rock ‘n’ roll band for one night only!
• LE GATEAU CHOCOLAT: The outrageous, larger-than-life, operatic star of La Soiree and La Clique brings his latest sequin-studded, lycra-clad extravaganza to London for three nights only.
• Julie Madly Deeply: Adored by millions, Dame Julie Andrews is a genuine legend of entertainment.
• Shlomo: Internationally acclaimed, record breaking human beatboxer and World Loopstation Champion is back with his latest show.
• Silencio: Prepare yourself for an immersive trip to a parallel world as you enter a silent scene of film, cabaret, disco and live music.
• BRIEFS: THE SECOND COMING: Fresh from glitter bombing the globe, the cult variety show returns to London with a brand spanking new show.
• Horne Section: The UK’s finest musicians thrown together with the world’s most exciting comics.
• Frisky & Mannish: To celebrate an amazing five years together, F&M are bringing back exclusive, one-off performances of each of their hit, sell-out Edinburgh shows: School of Pop, The College Years and Pop Centre Plus.
• The Tiger Lillies: The Grammy nominated, Olivier award-winning godfathers of alternative cabaret return to the Wonderground for their only London concert dates this year.
• Rob Delaney: His Soho Theatre debut last year sold out in one hour.
