Frankenweenie opens 56th BFI London Film Festival

 

The 56th BFI London Film Festival has announced this year’s Festival will open on Wednesday October 10th with the European Premiere of Disney’s FRANKENWEENIE, directed by the one and only Tim Burton.

In addition, the Festival will host The Art of Frankenweenie Exhibition from October 17-21, and it will be FREE to the public. The Art of Frankenweenie Exhibition will take place next door to the BFI Southbank at Southbank Centre’s Festival Village.

Tim Burton, Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Catherine O’Hara and Martin Landau are all expected to attend the Festival.

The full festival programme will be announced at the press launch on Wednesday September 5th.
