Last Night

Will they / Won’t they? That is basically the premise of Last Night which follows an evening apart between married couple Joanna and Michael played by Keira Knightley and Sam Worthington.

Michael is away on a business trip with his stunningly attractive coworker played by Eva Mendes. Joanna has already expressed jealousy and doubts about their relationship upon first setting eyes on Eva and her curvaceousness. If Keira would just eat a sandwich, I’m sure she could have hips like Eva too!

While Michael is away, Keira comes out to play. Guillame Canet makes an appearance in New York City as Joanna’s ex-lover who is way hotter than her current-husband and they have way more chemistry! Why was there even hesitation here? Go for it woman!

Anyway, for the duration of the film the audience gets to watch each half of this couple deal with temptation. In the end we know who does / doesn’t give in. I will not reveal a thing!

Considering this film is starring Keira Knightley and her massive jaw and boring old Sam Worthington who blends in with the wallpaper, this film was actually pretty good! I suppose eye candy such as Eva and Guillame doesn’t hurt one bit. But seriously, the characters were somewhat interesting – go figure. And the ending, well, without any revelations here, it was pretty satisfying yet left the audience wanting a bit more!
