The promise of a comedy starring Vince Vaughn and Winona Ryder had me very excited. In reality, this film was more of a light drama with some very humourous moments and some fat guy who thinks he’s funny. I quite enjoyed the film and most definitely enjoyed Channing Tatum’s scene-stealing cameos played against Vince Vaughn. And I don’t even know who Channing Tatum is!!! (Seriously guys.. who is he and where did he come from? And why is he considered a heart throb? Ew. He’s pretty funny though.)
The premise of The Dilemma is straightforward. Vince Vaughn sees Fat Guy’s girlfriend Winona cheating on him with Carole Channing Tatum. The DILEMMA is, does he tell his friend about it? Especially as they need to make their work deadline and are under an immense amount of pressure already. Enter Queen Latifah in another of the film’s cameo-like support roles. She wasn’t so funny though. It’s all about the Tater.
