To celebrate the release of the original GHOSTBUSTERS film on Hi-Def Blu-Ray, I attended a screening of the film on THE BIG SCREEN. Like most children of the 80’s, I have seen Ghostbusters dozens of times in my life. But as I was merely a wee youngen when the film was in cinemas the first time round in 1984, I have never experienced the legendary epic in its full potential. UNTIL NOW.

Somehow seeing Ghostbusters on a big screen in Hi-Def made the film even better and FRESH. I was hearing jokes I never noticed the first 246 times I’d seen it. I didn’t even realize how Egon had all the great one liners, and it’s not just the Bill Murray Show after all. I had never before realized how bloody awful and cheesy the Special Effects are, until I saw them in Hi-Def. WOW they’re so bad they’re good. This film is even more of a classic now than before, if that’s even possible.

I suggest you all re-acquaint yourselves with the legendary GHOSTBUSTERS. It’s even better than you remember!
