The 36th London Critics’ Circle Film Awards were held on January 17th at the May Fair Hotel, honouring the best film talent of 2015. In addition, Dame Judi Dench presented actor-filmmaker Kenneth Branagh with the Dilys Powell Award for Excellence in Film.
Established in 1913, The Critics’ Circle is the oldest organization of its kind, with more than 400 members who work as critics in the UK media. The awards have been presented annually since 1980.
As the talent arrived on the red carpet, we managed to interview Slow West director John Maclean, The Falling / Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams, the man of the hour Kenneth Branagh, and 45 Years star Tom Courtenay.
