Bestival is 10!
My, how time flies! This year’s Bestival will be the festival’s 10th year in action. With the annual fancy dress theme being HMS Bestival and a lineup including Elton John, Snoop Dogg, Franz Ferdinand, M.I.A., Fatboy Slim, Wu-Tang Clan, and so many more, could this year be the best Bestival yet? Let’s take a trip down memory lane and reminisce about 10 years of Bestival (well, 8 years as we only discovered it ourselves in 2005):
2005
We met Soulwax / one half of 2ManyDjs! Neat.
2006
Ben Affleck was trying his hand at Batman even back then.
2007
Beastieval!
2008
The fancy dress theme was Freaks Under the Sea and that we were – Bestival was rained upon and the mud was even sinking the stages!
2009
Out of Space was the fancy dress theme, and boys & bums is what Loose Lips‘ Rowena and Jon were all about.
2010
What else is there to say except SNAP!

We just love this festival!

You actually make it seem really easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something which I feel I might by no means understand. It seems too complicated and very vast for me. I am looking forward on your subsequent post, I will try to get the dangle of it!
